We are extremely excited to announce the creation of “Marching with the Virginians!” This blog is written by Marching Virginians, and it seeks to capture the MV experience through personal stories of defining moments within the band.

Fondly known as “The Spirit of Tech,” the band is one of the largest groups on Virginia Tech’s campus. The MV’s are made up of over 330 students with a wide variety of majors, hometowns, and interests. Despite our large size and many differences, we still manage to be a tight-knit community full of teamwork, dedication, and Hokie spirit!
Being a member of this organization means so much more than playing an instrument during Virginia Tech football games. “Marching with the Virginians” gives readers a chance to see what it is like to be a Marching Virginian by experiencing the stories that make us who we are.
