2018 marks the 23rd annual Hokies for the Hungry. Learn about how The Marching Virginians are dedicated to providing for the community and The Montgomery County Christmas Store. Remember to bring your cans to the Miami game on Saturday the 17th so we can fulfill our goal of “One Can from Every Fan!”
The Marching Virginians have a student leadership team of over 70 individuals. Today, we are shining a light on what it is like to be the band’s Executive Officer, the individual that oversees the student leadership team, serves as a liason between the directors and the band, and is the official representative of the Marching Virginians.
It isn’t easy celebrating your first birthday as a college student. Especially for those with birthdays early in the semester, it can often pass unceremoniously; you are far away from your family, and many birthday traditions simply fade away.
